With 彭婧 Jing PENG (artist of the cover), we are very pleased to present our second piece, "The Fantastic Jump Cut Flight 2023".
It is a sound collage, a patchwork, or a quasi-readymade of pre-existing works reconstructed and reworked from their original meaning.
This piece, "The Fantastic Jump Cut Flight 2023", brings together the jingles made this year (2023) for a more global project called "The Readymade Flight of the Four Seasons Project". The goal is to assemble the jingles from my radio show each year and sculpt a journey representative of global musical movements in the spirit of the targeted year.
